Shit, I am lazy -_-
I keep telling myself to update this thing and I never do.
But ah-ha! I plan on changing that, starting today! (she always says that and then she never does >_> )
First up; I got published! Huzzah ^_^! My book review of Jack Gantos' "Hole in my Life" got printed in yesterdays Philadelphia Inquierer. All official and what not, ye-ah baby!
As far as story/comic ideas go, I've cooked up a whole slew of stuff. Apart from Jersey Devil and PAN!, there's now: Thunderbox, Philosopher Kings, Jabberwocky and an as of yet named Halloween inspired story.
I've created a whole MESS of characters that belong to these storys and I'm pretty sure they exsist in the same universe, but I'm not sure of what to call this universe yet. Hmm....
Check it out world. The first sneak peak at the Evangelion sequel. Although I wish it was an actual animated sequel and not one of those video-game-continuing-the-story type things, beggers can't be choosers right?
Damnit. Not even done with my first comic idea and I'm itching to work on my new one, PAN!. See, this is why I can never get anything done! Maybe I can just work on them both at the same time. Maybe -_-
I really should be catching up with all the shit that's happened to me this summer but I'm going to take a moment to pimp out my new site instead!
^_^ I've been working on this comic book pitch for a while and after the notebook/suitcase tragedy {>_< fucking airport baggage check in retards!!} I wanted to post up everything that I've come up with story wise, someplace a little more lasting, so I made a lit-tle site. ^_^ Tada, project: Jersey Devil is now open for..uh..well it's open! Huzzah ^^
Now if I can just find an artist from Philly who might be willing to hook up with me on this project in the future for free, I'd be set! >_>...bit of a longshot, yeah, but hey, dream a little dream ^_^
And on a kind of related note, I went comic shopping down in Center City yesterday. Fables #16, Bone: Out of Boneville, and The Sandman: Preludes and Nocturnes. Sweet XD!
